The only disadvantage associated with affirmative action is the fact that some employers consider it to be unfair since it forces them to hire particular employees and if they refuse to do so, they will be breaking the law.

  1. This description omits veterans and the disabled who are also covered by affirmative action requirements. It is so much easier to stir up resentment of affirmative action if the only focus is on its coverage of minorities. This paper is too narrowly argued. And in that way, discriminatory.
