Benefits of Drinking Milk

milkDid you know that a single liter of milk holds 32 grams of pure protein? This protein comes from two main sources: whey and casein. These two sources happen to be the best type of protein the human body could possibly get.

Milk can be purchased at practically any store and is very cheap; most of all if you take into consideration how much protein you can get out of it. Instead of consuming sodas and sports drinks all the time, why not chug several glasses of milk? Milk happens to be a great drink for the night time since it can keep your body out of catabolic states, benefiting your overall sleeping pattern every night.

Milk contains lots of important minerals like zinc, calcium and iron. Calcium happens to be very important for everyday life since it helps in obtaining bones that are strong and healthy. Additionally, it makes the body store less fat. As a matter of fact, it has been proven to significantly lower body fat within people who are overweight and obese.

Always ensure that you stick to milk that is semi-skimmed since this could then basically function as a liquid meal. It would be perfect, if you could make some protein shakes on the go, so you can get a quick meal before you head out the door. If you are taking dieting seriously, it would be recommended to opt for skimmed milk, as well, since it comes with much less fat compared to regular milk.

Now you know all about the advantages that milk can have on your muscles and bones. If you don’t like milk very much, several glasses every night will pave a healthy way for you. Plus, if you think that money is a big problem, there really would be no other substitute when it comes to drinking milk. Not only will you save a lot of money from having to purchase regular food, but you will also cut down on the calories. Every great and successful diet has to include lots of milk, so don’t hesitate to drink up!

Are you kidding me? Are you really suggesting that people down an additional 200 calories before bed time? How on earth could you say that “Not only will you save a lot of money from having to purchase regular food, but you will also cut down on the calories”? Do you honestly believe that milk is superior to a nutrient rich clean diet? Cut down on calories by drinking a couple of glasses of milk? Milk isn’t a food sources… it’s a liquid that’s full of heavy calories, saturated fat and sugars. Food is lean meats, veggies, and complex carbs!

    If you’re thirsty….DRINK WATER! If you’re hungry….EAT FOOD!

You must work for the Dairy Industry.

From the very top of your article I thought I was reading an ad put out by the ADA.
I suggest you modify your article before you get a law suit against you.
It has been our experience that milk protein is far from being good for the human body since it was meant to be consumed by the young growing calf (four legged animal).
I grew up on a dairy farm and have seen the negative benefits of milk now in my family and practice for 20 years.
I also suggest you read the book “your life in your hands” by Jane Plant PhD.
