I’ve been using black soap for years. I don’t have problems like acne, pimples, constant breakouts because taking care of my face is very important to me. I have used almost every skin care system on the market. I use the natural form of black soap. Nothing added and it’s not in the form of a bar like most people use. You can purchase this from African stores as well. After you wash your face, you should always use an astringent or clarifying lotion to get the excess dirt and oil off. I personally use clinique and follow with a good moisturizer daily. I promise you will see a difference in the overall look and feel of your face trust me. But remember natural black soap not this dodo sum mess or whatever it’s called.

I’ve used cetaphil for my face for years, I started using black soap and its given me better results than any other soaps and face washes. My face is naturally oily but black soap didn’t leave my face dry. I definitely recommend it to melanated men who have trouble shaving and have left over scars due to shaving too close.

My experience with black soap has been mixed. When I first used it I scrubbed too enthusiastically and used too much. I had a very bad reaction similar to a burn. It took almost a week for the scaliness/scab to heal. The second time I used it I didn’t scrub but still used too much. It burned while I was using it but beside some redness there was no problem. Now I use a small amount, massage it on gently and I have been seeing great results. Since I have added it to my skin care routine there has been less noticeable acne and redness.

I have been hearing about this African Black Soap, I didn’t know it was widely been used by so many people.

So I started to use it myself and it’s fantastic. I have been using the one that is black in colour and it as a very nice fruity small and is package in a nice black and orange colour box.

But I have read that this version of the black soap my not be organic and my contain artificial ingredients. But having read the information on the box it say’s nothing about any artificial ingredients.

Anyway my next venture is to try the raw African black soap. I found a great website with all the information about The African Black Soap take a look.
