FRM is an abbreviated form of Financial Risk Manager. FRM is a professional certification. This designation is awarded by the Global Association of Risk Professionals. The candidate who seeks an FRM designation must complete a two-part examination, which is mostly practice based. The syllabus of this examination covers all the important topics under financial risk management. The candidate has to have at least two-year work experience in this field. There are many other prerequisites that need to be fulfilled before receiving the designation. However, after all this work the FRM certification provides one a numbers of perks and competitive advantages.

1. Sort-after designation

Benefits of ECE

ECE or early childhood education refers to a formal type of schooling for children that are around five years old or below. In most countries, mandatory schooling starts at around age 6 or 7 and any form of schooling before this falls under ECE. Not all educational systems in the world have ECE programs, but for countries that have existing so-called preschool programs, they actually reap various benefits. Aside from children themselves, the whole community or school system actually gain from ECE. The following are some benefits of ECE implementation:

1. Improved intelligence

Studies have shown that children who had formal education while they were younger had greater chances of getting better grades in school and improved intelligence for the rest of their lives. ECE basically helps young children develop their early potentials in terms of learning lessons and gaining skills.

2. Social benefits

Kids who are exposed to the school setup early are also said to be socially better. Preschool children are known to be more socially healthy in terms of dealing with parents, teachers, and other people by simply being exposed to the school setup early in life.

3. Better health

Statistics have also shown that kids that went to school early also had better health in terms of proper nutrition and overall immunity. ECE programs not only involve teaching kids basic educational lessons but also other concerns that involve their physical, emotional, and social health.

4. Greater chances of economic success

Early childhood education also proved to be a good indicator for a child’s success in his/her adult life. Those who received formal schooling early were known to get good jobs with better pay.

ECE not only nurtures the intellectual aspect of a child but also helps develop social health, emotional health, and even the child’s creativity. All these aspects will then contribute to the child’s chances of succeeding later in his/her life.

Nade Ali or Naad-e Ali is a form of text that is considered sacred and holy among Muslims. It is often recited as a form of prayer during times of crisis and trouble. Nade Ali is said to have come from the Holy Prophet through Archangel Jibraeel. During the time of the Khaybar Battle, Mawla Ali was said to recite this particular text and was able to survive. Since then, Muslim followers have recited the Nade Ali for the following benefits:

1. Protection from danger

The Nade Ali or Naad-e Ali is commonly known as a prayer for protection from the various dangers in the world. Some have advocated reciting the Nade Ali several times every single day to help get rid of enemies, bad omens, and troubles in life. Some people even recite this sacred Muslim text up to a thousand times to free oneself from danger.

2. Disease healing

Many Muslim believers also recite the Nade Ali to help heal themselves from a serious or incurable disease. For this particular reason, people are advocated to recite the prayer up to 21 times over a glass of water. The water will then be given to people suffering from various disease or ailments.

3. Treatment of poisoning

For people who have been poisoned or those who believe they have various toxins in the body, reciting the Nade Ali on a clay plate is also considered an effective way of treatment. After reciting the prayer, the clay plate needs to be washed using clean water and the remaining water shall be given to the poisoned person.

4. Prosperity

The Nade Ali is also prayed for its wealth and prosperity benefits. Reciting it several times and at specific times of day is also said to help invite good fortune and positive energy to improve one’s wealth.

Overall, the Nade Ali is considered a way to pray and meditate for various Muslim believers. Reciting the prayer alone is enough for most people in the sense that positive energy is invited which could later translate to more good things and blessings in life.

Benefits of coed schools

Coed schools refer to schools that accommodate both boys and girls in the educational system. For the most part, coed schools are considered standard or normal. There are also a lot of schools though that are designed for all-boys or all-girls students. These gender-exclusive schools may also have their own advantages but many people and parents still prefer to have their children go to coed schools because of numerous advantages which may include the following:

1. Better social skills

Exposure to both sexes at a young age will help children improve their social skills. Being restricted to mingling with same-sex schoolmates will literally mean less contact with children of the opposite sex. With less contact, children will also have fewer experiences and learning opportunities in the social setup of the educational system. Being exposed to both boys and girls at school may also mean that young children will be able to learn how to respect other people especially that of the opposite sex.

2. Boosted Self Confidence

Coed schools are also better for children in terms of developing their self-assurance or confidence. When enrolled in an all-boys school for example, one boy may be comfortable with himself when being around boys. This might not be the case though when this particular boy will be subjected to join a group of girls. Having both boys and girls as schoolmates can help make children make internal adjustments for both sexes and ultimately help them be comfortable with the coed environment.

3. Better adaptation to the real world setup

Exposure to coed schools also provides the perfect experience for children and young people to face the challenges of the real world. More adaptation skills will be developed in coed schools and these are useful tools to handle whatever concern comes up in the real world setup.

Coed schools are important for children and young people in the sense that they are the starting points of their individual lives. By gaining the social, behavioral, and adaptation skills in the coed environment, children and young people are thought of as better prepared and equipped to handle daily life issues.

Benefits of irradiated food

Irradiated food refer to food items that underwent the process of irradiation. In this process, various food items such as fruits, vegetables, and meat are exposed to an ionizing form of radiation such as those from gamma rays or x-rays. The process works similarly to microwaves but the major difference is that using these rays does not generate heat in the food item involved. The following are benefits of irradiated food:

1. Longer shelf life

The basic purpose of irradiation is to increase the shelf life of some food items and lower the chance of easy spoilage. With the irradiation process, there will be less food wastage because people will be able to safely consume the food item for a longer period of time.

2. Lower chance of getting ill from various bacteria or fungi

Irradiation basically gets rid of bacteria and/or fungi that may be present in food items at the time they are harvested or prepared for release to market places. The gamma and/or x-rays will serve to eliminate microorganism growth and therefore makes food safer to eat. With elimination of these bacteria or fungi, then there will also be a lower chance of getting sickness from food consumption.

3. Fewer pesticides in growing food

If food items such as fruits and vegetables are intended for irradiation, it will also translate to less pesticide usage while they are grown. Some treatment cycles for farms may be deemed unnecessary because the irradiation process can also help in eliminating various microorganisms.

4. Fewer preservatives added to food

Irradiation can also be used as an alternative to putting too many preservatives to food items such as meat. With irradiated meat, there will simply be less chemicals and substances added to them for preservation purposes.

Aside from eliminating bacteria and fungi and prolonging the shelf life of various food items, the best thing about irradiated food is that most nutrients will also be intact despite the radiation exposure.

Benefits of substitute teaching

Substitute teaching is a temporary teaching position that is preferred by some teaching professionals. Some people also refer to this type of teaching profession as “guest teaching” since the teacher involved acts like a guest to a certain school because his/her stay may only be for a short period of time. The following are some of the benefits of substitute teaching:

1. Schedule flexibility

The best thing about being a substitute teacher is that one can choose his/her own teaching schedule. Unlike regularly paid teachers, a substitute teacher can basically choose which days or what time of day he/she will be taking teaching loads or subjects. With the freedom to choose teaching projects, a substitute teacher will also earn freedom in terms of his/her personal chores and activities.

2. Great experience

Substitute teaching will also mean a great experience especially to new teachers. Since one will be able to teach at different schools and choose different subjects, various skills will definitely be honed and enhanced. Basic teaching knowledge may be acquired from school, but only experience from substitute teaching for example can broaden knowledge and enhance abilities and skills for teachers because of the exposure to a variety of educational environments.

3. Assessment guide for the future

Being a substitute teacher is also beneficial in terms of being able to assess one’s professional preferences in the future. By exposing oneself to different school programs and subjects, one will have a better idea on what is preferred for one’s teaching career and future.

For people who wish to experience new things everyday and are adventurous in terms of choices, substitute teaching may appeal more to them compared to standard teaching jobs. Substitute teaching is also a great professional choice for those who want to be truly in control of their lives in terms of their time and the subjects they want to teach to others.

Benefits of Piaget’s theory

Piaget’s theory refers to the views about human intelligence and cognitive development by known psychologist, Jean Piaget. His theory is also known as the developmental stage theory in the world of psychology because of the comprehensive and many stages involved in the development of what people see, hear, feel, think, and understand from the time they are babies up to maturity. According to Piaget, human intelligence is more like a process or skill that is acquired over time through actual experience. With the natural environment, cognitive development will continue to develop and make a person assess what he/she already knows and what is actually observed in reality. For supporters of Piaget’s theory, here are some of the benefits:

1. Enhanced teaching methods for children

With Piaget’s comprehensive discussion on the developmental stages of human intelligence, many schools around the world have also made adjustments in how subjects and skill sets are taught to school children. Piaget’s theory has greatly influenced many school programs in terms of intelligence and abilities levelling.

2. Customized learning approach

Piaget’s views on the developmental stages for learning also paved the way for customizations in the learning and teaching methods for various school children. Many schools and learning institutions have adapted techniques that cater to a specific knowledge level. Tasks are customized according to the person’s ability and learning capacity.

3. Environment of support for school children

Piaget’s theory on cognitive development also involved participation from peers, teachers, and family. His views also made a mark on school programs in a sense that group activities are pushed to help children also learn socially and interactively.

Despite various criticisms for Piaget’s theory especially on the specifications of the developmental stages in learning, various educational programs are still based on his views as there are also many points that are applicable to present situations.

At first glance, peer pressure may be considered as negative but it can also provide some benefits. Below are some of these benefits:

1. Efficiency and productivity

In the case of students, pressure from classmates or group mates may actually motivate a person to become better in certain tasks, activities, subjects. When one belongs to a circle of friends and these friends become influential in terms of study habits, one may actually gain from the pressure and become more efficient in doing homework which can also lead
to better productivity. This same concept can also be applied to the workplace where each employee may actually become better if there are peers that also perform their best.

2. Tolerance and flexibility

Those who want acceptance from a peer group for example will also develop some adaptation and adjustment skills. By conforming to a particular group of friends, one will also learn to be more tolerant of the different personalities involved in the common group. Overall, one will gain flexibility and patience towards other people by simply trying to fit in a
group.

3. Better perspective

Being part of a group that has some kind of influence on one’s behavior, attitudes, and decisions may also help a person gain a better understanding of his/her own life and the other people’s lives. Trying to fit in and wanting to be accepted involves a lot of patience, flexibility, compromise, and understanding and these could help one gain a better
perspective.

As long as one is able to use the influence from friends in a positive light, he/she should be able to gain from it in terms of better attitude, performance, and understanding of others. The main point in peer pressure is that one should make sure to not be swayed easily by other people and instead think of the pros and cons before trying to yield or fit in the group.

Benefits of Sabbath rest

Sabbath day is considered a day of rest for many religious sectors across the globe. For some people, Sabbath is celebrated on the sixth day of the week which is Saturday while others consider Sunday as Sabbath day. No matter which day is considered the Sabbath, basically all people know that this particular day is intended for rest as commanded by God in the scriptures. For many religious people, keeping the Sabbath holy and literally resting on this particular day can provide the following benefits:

1. Physical rest

The Lord’s commandment about the Sabbath literally relates to resting from any kind of work and dedicating a special day for the family and worship activities. If people really take time off from doing their usual everyday activities, they will get to be physically rejuvenated. If all things in the physical world are set aside and one will celebrate Sabbath
by resting, his/her body will ultimately gain from it and become healthier.

2. Spiritual rest

Sabbath rest is also associated with the day of worship for many religious people. For most people, keeping the Sabbath holy and respecting the Lord’s wishes means that they at least spend the day praying and glorifying God. With this practice, one’s spirituality will also be enhanced and this will contribute to a more restful feeling and thinking.

3. Closer relationship with God

Resting on Sabbath involves a regular practice of worship and praying during Saturday or Sunday. With this routine, people will also develop a closer relationship with the Lord. Praying may be done alone or with a group in church and either way is a great means to communicate with one’s inner soul and with the Divine Being. Having this kind of
relationship with God will also translate to a better understanding of things an improved tolerance and acceptance of other people.

Sabbath rest is very important for many people around the world because of the various benefits including those mentioned above. For some people, Sabbath rest is the perfect time to detach themselves from so-called Earthly things and instead focus on their real purpose in life which is to serve the Lord.

Benefits of the esophagus

The esophagus is an organ that is part of the digestive system in humans and animals. It is connected to the back part of the pharynx on its upper portion while its lower portion is connected to the stomach. This organ basically helps during swallowing or food intake and serves to deliver food to the stomach for digestion and nutrient processing. With proper
functioning as part of the digestive system, the esophagus provides the following benefits to humans and animals:

1. Transport of food

After food is chewed and swallowed, the esophagus performs the role of passageway or entry way into the stomach. Through its lining and the muscles along the esophageal tract, food is smoothly transported from the mouth to the stomach for processing. Once in the stomach, the food items eaten will be digested and the nutrients will be given out to the bloodstream and thereby supplying different parts of the body. Without the esophagus, the food people eat will not be able to reach the stomach for digestion.

2. Smooth flow of food

The muscle sphincters and the lining in the upper part of the esophagus also keeps the flow of food smoothly down the long muscular tract. Through the sphincter, food that is being swallowed will not have a chance to go back up outside the mouth. This benefit is most appreciated when one eats while lying down. Food can still be swallowed even if the
direction of the esophageal tract is not assisted by gravity.

3. Prevention of backflow from stomach

Since the esophagus is the passageway intended for food items, there is also a great tendency that some food that is already delivered into the stomach for processing may move back upwards. It is for this reason that the esophagus also plays a very important role and provides the benefit of not having to experience food regurgitation and the accompanying acid reflux. This may be a not-so good sensation but this is efficiently avoided by a healthy and functioning esophagus.

With all the benefits and functions mentioned above, medical experts always advise that people also take care of their esophagus along with the rest of the body. Various ailments can also affect the esophageal tract and so it must also be treated with care.
