    Just wanted to add one thing though before people go shoveling spoonfuls of Turmeric into their food/faces.

    It’s the Curcumin in Turmeric which is the main active ingredient that provides the above benefits (and more), as such when looking for supplements, high Curcumin levels should be what you are looking for.

    Since Turmeric is only around 3% Curcumin in content, a good extract/supplement is worth it’s weight in gold.

    Most studies that support the above benefits are centered around consuming in excess of 1 gram of Curcumin a day. To get the desired results, simply adding more Turmeric to your food or purchasing a standard supplement simply isn’t going to ‘cut the mustard’ as they say 🙂
