Benefits of the Internet
What if there was no internet? Well, the World Wide Web has had a positive impact on our lives. Although many people still don’t own a computer, the number is declining each year as more people have become aware of the benefits of technology. My life is certainly not the same after I discovered how to make money online at the comfort of my own home.
1. Better communication
Before the internet came into existence, there were three basic modes of communication, including snail email, telephone conversation and direct face-to-face communication. With advancement in technology, it is now possible to chat with friends through instant messaging applications such as Google Voice and Skype. Instant messaging has become extremely popular in business, while Skype is used for personal communication.
2. Online banking
The best thing about online baking is that you never have to worry about buying postage, or writing out checks every time you want to make payments. You can pay your mortgage with just a click of the mouse and your money is sent electronically.
3. Study online
I could recommend you to consider online education since it is flexible than four year learning at the University, not to mention that it is convenient if you work full time. The benefits of studying online far outweigh any disadvantages expect that it lacks personal interaction. However, you can still Skype with friends online.
4. Training seminars
Online training is also convenient, especially if you are considering a career change. Webinars are common today due to advancement in technology, bringing together people from all walks of life in a virtual class. You can use a number of tools like GoToMeeting to schedule meeting with counterparts.
The World Wide Web also has its share of disadvantages as well. Many of us fall prey to scammers online who often pose as investors.
