My experience with black soap has been mixed. When I first used it I scrubbed too enthusiastically and used too much. I had a very bad reaction similar to a burn. It took almost a week for the scaliness/scab to heal. The second time I used it I didn't scrub but still used too much. It burned while I was using it but beside some redness there was no problem. Now I use a small amount, massage it on gently and I have been seeing great results. Since I have added it to my skin care routine there has been less noticeable acne and redness.

Im not convinced of black soap. I dont think it does anything for my skin. I can try it again and test it out but im very skeptical.
